Dolby Atmos®

To put it simply, Dolby Atmos® is the biggest advancement in home and cinema audio since surround sound. Adding elevation speakers reflects sound from the ceiling to deliver sound anywhere in your room, making you feel like you’re really in the thick of the action.

Tractrix® Technology

Patented Tractrix® horn technology ensures that the high-frequency energy of the  Klipsch R-625FA bookshelf speakers  is aimed directly at the listener and reduces unwanted artificial reverberation effects caused by indirect sound bouncing off walls.

Pinna anatomy

Klipsch Reference Premiere Series speakers feature a compressed molded silicone face that conforms to the Tractrix 90×90 horn to reduce horn resonance for a smoother frequency response. Klipsch’s computer-modeled phase taps act as a mechanical filter to ensure a smooth, flat frequency response while protecting the tweeter from damage.

New vented tweeter

A vented tweeter reduces standing waves behind the tweeter diaphragm for smoother high frequency reproduction.

The lightweight but rigid composition of the titanium diaphragm exceeds the performance of aluminum, polymer or silk tweeters.

Klipsch’s award-winning Linear Travel Suspension technology harnesses the piston movement of the titanium diaphragm which reduces distortion and produces realistic sound.

A ceramic magnet housing delivers optimum performance, Klipsch Reference tweeters set the standard for sonic reproduction.

Grave Cerametallic

Klipsch’s Cerametallic™ woofers are the  Klipsch R-625FA speakers’ signature benchmark  for sound and aesthetics. This extremely light and rigid material holds its shape while being able to deliver lower frequencies with maximum efficiency.

Bass anatomy

Klipsch Cerametallic™ cones are paired with a two-layer copper voice coil for exceptional conductivity.

Reference Premiere woofers are housed in a non-resonant stamped steel basket, attached to a large magnetic motor for exceptional efficiency and low distortion, and matched to our horn tweeters for optimal acoustic execution.

Event Tractrix®

The rear Tractrix port is perfectly matched to the cabinet and woofers, creating ideal airflow with minimal distortion or turbulence even at the lowest frequencies.

The  Klipsch R-625FA tower  features two input terminals so you can bi-wire or bi-amp your speakers for a personalized high-performance experience.

Finished to perfection

The  Klipsch R-625FA Ebony finish  features a satin painted baffle with a scratch resistant design. Cast aluminum legs provide a modern look with less resonance than MDF or ABS plastic. It’s mechanically designed to minimize surface area in contact with the floor, decoupling the driver for faster, tighter low frequencies and more detail.
